Snowbowl Sunset 6-2026

In the summer you can ride the Snowbowl Gondola up on Agassiz Peak for the sunset, lift ticket and dinner combo was $31...The photos begin with the Aspen leaves in the parking lot at the base lodge, on top you are above the tree line at 10,500 feet, it was very breezy and quite cool...the mountain behind me is Humphreys Peak, 12,637...I am standing on the rim of an ancient volcano that might have been as tall as 16,000 feet before eruptions and erosion created the caldera we see today...you can see vapor trails from passenger planes in a number of the photos and if you look closely at the last photo of the chair lift with fir tree on the right side, find the 11 o'clock position and look for the two white dots, Venus and Jupiter.
