I purchased a cheap plastic birdbath over a year ago...it has now become the stopping point for a variety of birds in the late afternoon...I have to refill it every day...it holds a little over a gallon of water...in order, Mockingbird, Ring neck dove and Starlings...most birds visit one at a time but the Starlings come in groups and are very raucous when drinking and bathing...I have a camouflage pancho that allows me to get close.
