Oak Creek Sedona 5-2025

Nothing is more soothing than flowing water...Having lived in the desert most of my life this is always a treat...Got to the location before sunrise to avoid the harsh glare of the sun and the crowds...at one point as I was balanced on a large rock I watched a hummingbird land nearby and carefully take a bath in the flowing water...he inched down a rock until he was in the water and ruffled his feathers...to get the water to look like smoke I slow the shutter speed of the camera to 2-8 seconds...the gold color in some photos is the reflection of the rising sun on the canyon walls above me...the temperature was around 48 degrees...
