Painted Rock State Park 5-2024

This is my second trip to this remote area...about thirty miles west of Gila Bend...you exit I8 and drive through some agricultural fields then climb up to the foothills overlooking the Gila River and the fields that follow the river valley...very small park, a boulder mount with a lot of petroglyphs...probably more comfortable to visit during winter months...on my visit it was hot, late in the day and I was all alone.
