Arizona Balloon Festival 1-2026

These balloon festivals have a similar schedule, Friday is Glow Night and tethered rides(very long line), Saturday morning take to the air, Saturday night another Glow Night and Sunday morning take to the air again...the Sunday morning schedule at this event surprised me, most of the balloons inflated about a mile from the event site then floated overhead...there was a white target laid out on the grass to see who could get close with out setting down, two balloons tried dropping little weighted streamers on the target...on Sunday morning the blue balloon with white stripes had difficulty getting inflated, they were almost upright and a breeze pushed them over sideways and they had to start over..
