You have to be from my generation to remember the phrase, "Oh, go fly a kite!"...Simple pleasures....I purchased this kite in San Francisco in 1976 while visiting for the Bicentennial celebration....it probably hasn't been airborne for over 30 years...I went up to Prescott Valley to visit my favorite granddaughter...she and her partner Xander had never flown kites when they were children...Monica took this photo, we rubbed elbows once and I taught her everything I know! Local artist, Gene Galazan, donated these scupulters made from recycled metal to the town of Prescott Valley and they can be seen along the Summit Trail...the family of horses is called "Grazing".
