GCNR Imperial Point flora, fauna and sunset 7-2024

Back at Imperial Point for late afternoon and sunset...not many flowers but almost all had small insect activity...a few small birds and ravens searching the parking lot and around the picnic tables for crumbs...trails from bark beetles that burrow under the bark of the pines...only a hand full of people at this location for sunset...caught a brief glimpse of a pair of condors riding the late afternoon air currents...talked with a researcher the previous evening at Cape Royal who was tracking condors in this area.
