Fairbanks Alaska Creamers Field Sandhill Cranes 9-2024

Creamers Field just outside of Fairbanks hosts Sandhill Cranes and waterfowl...about time for them to head south for winter locations, some might even spend the winter in Arizona....we talked with a local ranger about the strange black stripes on the Birch tree trunks, he told us it is very easy to strip the bark from a Birch tree...this is done by ignorant individuals and eventually will cause the tree to die.
