Quail 4-2026

A mother quail with five babies...they were hiding under the bushes in my yard and very aware of my presence...I had to wait for them to step into an area where I could get a clean photo...only one photo has all five babies and they are hard to see because they blend into the background...the mortality rate for these babies is very high...ten babies could hatch out and maybe one survives to maturity.
