Forest Lakes 6-2024

I spent a couple of days at Forest Lakes, AZ which is near Woods Canyon Lake on the Mogollon Rim...elevation here is about 7500 feet, the nights can be surprisingly cool...we did some exploring and saw wild horses, a flock of sheep under the escort of a Basque herder and his two dogs...a lot of stars...a few Abert's squirrels very appreciative of the provided peanuts and some beautiful bearded iris, one of my Mom's favorites.
